우리 강구조연구실에서는 교량 등 큰 하중을 견디는 건축물에서의 응력 분석을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 이는 강바닥판 교면포장 파손저감을 위한 강바닥판 상부구조 상세 구조해석 연구를 비롯하여, 강/복합성 얇은 보의 안정성 및 진동 분석 연구, 그리고 케이블 지지 교량의 구조 설계 및 분석 연구를 포함합니다. 최근에는, 부유식 수중교량의 차량 및 지진에 의한 동적거동 해석 기법의 개발으로 연구 분야를 넓히고 있습니다.

내진공학연구실에서는 내진 성능 평가 및 내진보강기법과 고층 건물의 연쇄 붕괴와 관련된 다양한 주제에 대해서 연구합니다. 특히 다양한 댐퍼를 이용한 효과적인 내진 보강, 유전자 알고리즘을 활용한 최적설계, 그리고 인공신경망을 이용한 구조물의 붕괴 위험 분석을 집중 연구하고 있습니다.
06고도수처리 및 물순환플랜트 공학

E-water lab 연구실은 멤브레인을 기반으로 한 수처리 및 고도수처리에 관한 전반적인 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 우리 연구실에서 수행하고 있는 연구분야는 크게 네 가지로 나눌 수 있습니다. 첫째, 사용한 물에서 오염물질을 제거하고 자연으로 순환시키기 위한 하 · 폐수 처리공정에 대한 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 둘째, 지표수를 음용수 혹은 사용 가능한 물로 만드는 정수처리에 대한 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 셋째, 해수에서 이온성 물질을 제거하여 음용수, 공업용수 등 에 활용하기 위한 해수담수화 공정에 대한 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 마지막으로 사용한 물을 농업용수 및 기타용수로 사용하기 위한 물 재이용 공정에 대해서 연구를 수행하고 있습니다.

교량공학연구실은 SOC 구조물 가운데 교량을 대상으로 설계, 시공부터 유지관리까지 관련 연구를 하며 교량에 관한 친환경성까지 고려하여 활발하게 수행합니다. 특히 최근에는 건설분야 패러다임 변화에 따라 ICT 융합 시설물 유지관리, 교량의 안전진단, 모듈러교량, 구조물의 형식별 친환경성 검증, 신형식 콘크리트 합성부재 및 설계 매뉴얼 개발 등을 통하여 건설분야의 발전에 앞장서고 있습니다.

본 연구실은 재료역학, 구조동역학, 센서공학 및 정보처리기술에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 융복합적 시각에서 도시 시설물의 지능화 기술을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히, 첨단 지능형 센싱기술을 이용한 도시 시설물 비파괴검사 및 건전성 평가 기술, 레이저 스캔을 이용한 도시 시설물 형상정보 체계구축을 통한 생애주기 유지 관리기술 그리고 인적재난 및 자연재해에 대비한 도시 시설물 안전관리를 위한 방재공학 기술이 중심이 되고 있습니다. 최근에는 사물인터넷 기술을 활용하는 스마트 도시 시설물 안전 및 에너지 관리 기술 연구가 진행중입니다.

건축환경연구실에서는 건물의 거주자가 쾌적하며 건강한 삶을 영위할 수 있는 거주환경을 제공하며, 환경 친화적인 건축을 실현하기 위한 Passive Design 또는 Active Control System 개발에 관한 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 현재는 초고층 건물의 연돌효과 (Stack Effect) 저감, 초고층건물의 에너지절감 방안- 공조/조명/블라인드 통합제어, 고층건물이 주변의 풍환경에 미치는 영향 등에 관한 연구를 진행하고 있습니다.

수질환경연구실에서는 수중 유해물질을 중점적으로 연구하고 있습니다. 우리의 연구 분야는 신규규제 특정수질유해물질 대응을 위한 생물학적 고도처리기술을 개발하는 것에서부터 수질오염물질 적정관리를 위한 배출허용기준(안) 설정 및 폐수배출시설 원단위 조사연구, 그리고 생물학적 폐수처리공정에서 미량 수질유해물질들의 분해거동을 연구하는 것도 포함합니다. 또한, 산업 폐수, 전자 폐수 등의 독성 물질을 지닌 특정 폐수 처리 및 재이용 기술 연구도 진행하고 있습니다.

성균관대학교 지반공학연구실은 ANN 기반의 TBM 콘크리트 라이닝 자동화 설계 프로그램 개발, 터널 설계/시공 리스트 관리, 해저터널 안정성 해석, 석션파일 의 안정성 해석 그리고 열 - 유도 배수시스템을 활용한 보강토 옹벽의 해석등 다양 한 분야에 대한 연구를 활발하게 진행하고 있습니다. 이론식과, 지식기반형 설계기법 과 유한요소 해석을 접목시켜 대상 지반의 터널의 정보를 입력하면 자동으로 안 정성 평가를 할 수 있는 통합 지식기반형 자동화 설계 프로그램을 개발하였으며 모형 토조와 유압 및 공압을 이용한 실험을 통해 다양한 조건의 지반의 거동 분석 등 모형실험을 진행하고 있습니다.

측지정보학 연구실은 토지이용, 자원, 환경, 교통, 도시시설, 기타행정 혹은 업무에 대한 계획관리 등의 목적으로 지리적으로 관련 있는 데이터의 입력, 저장, 계산, 분석 및 표시를 하는 정보시스템인 GIS(Graphic Information System, 지리정보시스템)를 활용하여 공간정보를 구축하고 있습니다. 측지정보학 연구실은 교량 및 대형건축물 등의 변형 및 지각변동에 관한 연구를 수행하였으며, GNSS/ INS를 이용하여 무인 자동차 및 드론에 관한 공간정보시스템을 구축하는 연구를 진행합니다. 또한 산사태, 토석류, 화학물질 누출 등 재난 분야에 공간정보를 활용하여 리스크 분석 및 평가를 수행중이기도 합니다.

건설재료연구실에서는 콘크리트의 물성과 관련된 분야에서 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 그 동안 수행한 성공적인 예로서, 박테리아 및 캡슐을 사용한 콘크리트구조물의 균열 자기치유 기술 및 결정화 재료, 탄소저감 성능 기반 설계를 위한 친환경 콘크리트에 관한 연구, 그리고 내부양생기술을 이용한 수축저감형 콘크리트 개발을 언급하고 있습니다. 또한 장기적인 목표로서 고성능 콘크리트의 장기독성 및 내구성능에 관해 연구하고 있습니다.
14해안환경연구실

본 연구실은 해안의 파랑, 이안류 및 해빈류, 조석·조류, 폭풍·지진해일, 침식·매몰 등의 물리적 현상을 실용적으로 모의하는 Matlab GUI를 이용한 수치 도구를 개발해 왔으며 최근 첨단센서 및 증강현실 기술 등과 접목하여 해안관리 및 안전.방재 등에 유용한 모의도구를 개발하는 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 또한 연안의 유류오염확산, 부유사확산 등 연안환경은 물론 유역, 하천 및 도시의 배수 및 위생 환경을 편리하게 관리하고 지속가능한 개발이 이루어지도록 설계할 목적의 GUI 프로그램도 개발하고 있으며 기후변화와 미래 불확실성에 대비하여 지속적으로 연안 및 도시 환경을 스마트하게 관리하고 설계할 목적의 소프트웨어 기술 개발에 기여하고자 합니다.

콘크리트공학연구실에서는 철근콘크리트 (RC) 와 프리스트레스트 콘크리트 (PSC) 구조물의 거동 및 바닥완충재의 장기특성에 대해 연구하고 있습니다. 최근에는 1) 고 강도 전단철근을 이용한 PSC 구조물의 전단거동, 2) 고강도 전단철근을 이용한 철근콘크리트 구조물의 전단크기효과, 3) 고강도 철근을 이용한 철근콘크리트 구조물의 비틀림 거동, 4) 바닥완충재의 장기성능평가 등에 대하여 집중 연구중입니다.
16지속가능수처리연구실

지속가능수처리 연구실 (Sustainable WAter Treatment Lab, SWAT)에서는 멤브레인 (membrane) 기반 해수담수화 및 하수처리 시스템, 세라믹 멤브레인을 이용한 전처리 시스템 개발, 최신 랩 칩 (lap chip) 기법을 사용한 환경오염 물질 모니터링 방법 등을 연구하고 있습니다. 본 연구실에서는 정삼투-역삼투 융합 공정담수화 시스템, OCT를 활용한 비가역적 막오염 모니터링 연구, 냉동법 해수담수화 등 다양한 국가연구과제를 수행하고 있는 중 입니다.

수자원원격탐사 연구실(ERSL)에서는 인명과 재산에 심각한 손실을 미치는 가뭄과 홍수의 원인이 되는 자연발생적 수자원 현상들을 중점적으로 다루고 있습니다. 주 연구 목표는 지표 수문 순환에 대한 이해 및 원격탐사자료와 지점관측자료를 활용한 통합 모델링입니다. 연구실에서는 다양한 수문기상 인자들의 시공간적 변동성 및 인공위성 활동 범위에 대한 불확실성 정량화를 통하여 각 인자들이 수문 현상에서 어떤 역할을 하는지에 대한 연구를 수행하고 있습니다.

We, advanced construction and technology researching group has focuses on an analysis of stress in structures that endure massive stress inside like bridge. Our study field encompasses refined structural analysis of orthotropic steel bridge decks for damage reduction, stability and vibration analysis of steel/composite thin-walled beams as well as structuraldesign and analysis of Cable-Supported Brides. Recently, we broaden our scope to dynamic interaction analysis of actively controlled Maglev/KTX trains and guideway bridges.

Special attention is paid to seismic retrofit using various damping devices, optimum design using genetic algorithm, and collapse analysis using neural network.

E-water lab has been conducting various researches with regard to membrane based water treatment processes. Our research can be divided into four topics. Firstly, we try to remove pollutants from waste water to minimize damage to the environment. Secondly, we carry out studies of drinking water treatment which produce fresh water by using the surface water. Lastly, we also deal with desalination processes and wastewater reclamation. Currently, we are focusing on membrane fouling control with minimizing chemical agent and optimizing membrane system.

In this lab, technologies about intellectualization of urban facilities have been studied in the viewpoint of convergence based on knowledges about material mechanics, structural dynamics, sensor technology and information processing technology. Especially, non-destructive testing and structural health monitoring of urban facilities using cutting-edge intelligent sensing technologies, life-cycle management technologies by establishing structural information, and technologies for safety management of urban facilities to prevent human or natural disasters. Recently, the research about the safety in smart city structures and energy management technology has been progressed using IoT technology.

Environmental Contaminants Research Laboratory has study hazardous contaminant in various water resources. Our study field includes development of biological advanced treatment technologies for new water quality regulations specific hazardous materials response, and extended authorization of specific toxic substance and establishment of the effluent standard and survey research for basic unit of wastewater discharging facility, as well as investigate the behavior of emerging aqueous micropollutants during biological wastewater treatment. In addition, studies on the specific wastewater treatment and reuse technology with toxic substances, such as industrial waste, electronic waste are on-going.

Geotechnical laboratory is studying on ANN based TBM concrete lining automated design programs, tunnel design/construction list management, tunnel stability analysis, stability of the suction pile analysis and thermalanalysis of reinforced soil retaining wall utilizing the heat-transfer drainage systems and a variety of fields. We developed knowledge-based automated design program integrated with theological and finite element method that can automatically calculate safety assessment. And also, we are conducting various behavior analysis on various soil conditions through experiments using models based on the field.

Geo-Informatics Lab has built a spatial information by GIS. We have studied regarding the modifications and variations of the bridge and large buildings, are performing a study to produce spatial information system of the unmanned motor vehicle and drone using GNSS/INS. Furthermore, we are extending the research field such as disaster, for example, the risk analysis and assessment of landslides, debris flow and chemical leak using a spatial information.

The C.E.S.Lab has developed the Matlab GUI based numerical tools of simulating waves, rip and wave-induced currents, tide and tidal currents, storm surge and seismic long waves, beach erosion and sand deposition and so on. Recently, We study to combine them with smart sensing and augmented reality based display techniques so as to be used for coastal zone management, safety and disaster management. C.E.S.Lab is also developing the GUI programs of managing an urban waste water discharging and water-borne disease system, and designing sustainable development plans. We aim to lead the integrated, smart coastal and urban environment managing software technique for the preparation to future climate change further uncertainty.

Our lab is carrying out various research projects such as forward osmosis-reverse osmosis hybrid system, irreversible membrane fouling monitoring research using OCT, and freezing desalination.

ERSL’s research interests focus on natural hydrological phenomena that cause floods and droughts. A main research goal is to improve knowledge of land surface hydrological processes and modeling by integrating remotely sensed data and ground-based data. Toward this goal, we seek the role of soil moisture and evapotranspiration in hydrological processes, which directly related to many hydro-meteorological variables in detail with consideration for spatial-temporal variability and the quantification of uncertainty within the context of the satellite footprint.
